This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Korean food scene in Philly is just so sad. I remember that this place is highly praised for their kbbq but we didn't really like it. Price is on the expensive side, but that is just Korean food pricing everywhere ig. We ordered a combo that they constantly told us that it wouldn't be enough for 3 but we barely finished it. The beef in the combo is good but the pork is not, especially pork belly; it is too dry. The server would grill the meat all at once so the meat would go cold and not taste very good. I guess people like this place because they grill directly on charcoal. Rice cake is standard, kinda spicy. They offer a variety of banchan, which is nice.

I really enjoyed Kim’s resturant! The food was authetic. The entire experience was amazing. The customer service was excellent. The pork belly and marinaded galbi were great. The banchon was well versed and worth it. The ambiance was fun. Highly recommend coming here for the charcoal and Korean authentic experience!

Best KBBQ in east coast. Tried many in NYC and Kim's is on another level. The inside of the restaurant reminds me of country side of south korea near a creek. They use charcoal not gas, and it slow cooks the meat perfectly, so it literally melts in your mouth. The owner recommended off menu beef, it was 1000x better than traditional marinated short ribs you get from kbbq restaurants in Queens New York, NYC, and Jersey. The pork belly had a unique flavor and texture because it was cooked over charcoal. Definitely recommend. Side dishes are delicious too. People there are so polite and welcoming they treat you like family.

we came to this place for my girlfriend's birthday, and it was PHENOMENAL. we ordered 3 different meats, steamed dumplings, and ddukbokki. i was unfamiliar with ddukbokki before this, but the sauce was so incredible that i think it may have become one of my favorite sauces. the woman who cooked our food (unfortunately i didn't catch her name) was so incredibly friendly and helped us understand how to eat the food correctly (we are the average dumb americans). she cooked the meat perfectly, and the rice we ordered was cooked perfectly as well. all in all, i'd absolutely come here again, and would recommend it to everyone in a heartbeat.

one of the top restaurants in philly food: AMAZING! 5/5 their secret menu short rib and kalbi are the best. for a group of 7, we ordered 6 premium meats and were satisfied. we also were given two steamed eggs and veggie stews and those were great fillers! the banchan here is also top tier. the BEST kimchi I’ve had. but everything they bring out is amazing and it’s UNLIMITED! we usually buy a carton of kimchi to bring home after! total came to about $50 pp. service: 10000/5 they cook for you, you literally get it fresh off the grill! and it’s delicious. everyone’s usually so helpful, you don’t have one server, everyone’s always stopping by to see if we need anything β€” they are the sweetest! atmosphere: I love the lowkey, hole in the wall vibe. it’s humble but still the BEST food in philly. good for groups <6 people
